Four Queens Hotel and Casino by yelp.com

Vegasphile you’re not unless you play here, it hits the spot! So we’ve stayed here now on three separate occasions and while the previous visits were just okay, this past visit was definitely the worst yet. On two of our three visits, the heat in the room was not working and we go in winter when it’s freezing outside. It was not clean and the door latch was not attached so the door wouldn’t close all the way. I honestly don’t see why anyone would stay here, unless they are just planning to party all night long and just use the room to crash for a few early morning hours. I also love that the casinos are so close if you wana go around. I was a little worried because some of the reviews were terrible. A no frills room but perfect for a quick night of partying downtown. I watched a lot of people playing slots and no one was winning big money, but they were winning enough to keep them entertained. So they do jack up the prices when there’s an event downtown. You get 2 to 1 meal deal and then if you do 20 points, you get 10 dollars of free play pretty much you get 1 point per every 5 dollars you spend. The room & hallway needs some attention, there is the cleaning storage room at the end of our hall that has a door knob missing, hall has peeled paint on the wall & some cracks here & there. The casino is old and musty smelling mixed with the smell of a thousand cigarettes being lit in the air. Come here for fun with 5 large, big bills so no cargo barge. Unfortunately, the bathroom in our last room was disgusting. The fridge in the room is perfect for us as we bring beer with us to pregame! Service was slow in the restaurant, so keep your expectations in check. The bathroom is small, shower is nice & hot & the room is clean. I understand it is an older hotel so it is to be expected but some of it really needs to be maintained at least. We’ll most likely stay here again but next time spend a little more on the room with hopes of more modern better upkeep for the area. Stick your nose into the bed & pillows as you try to get a night’s rest only finds this stench right up in your face. I decide to go peak at other floors just to see if per chance my floor is the only crappy one. The bed was not comfortable – you know like that nice soft relaxing feel you get when you pay up. They upgraded us for free because our room wasn’t ready and we were checking in early. We got a promo book at check in with coupons for the in house restaurants. Casino down stairs it’s great and the service is really good! Our window had a slit in it from the earthquake years ago and they just duct tape the slit where the current window doesn’t fit.
