For the ultimate in relaxation, book a session at the resort’s tranquil day spa, which includes outdoor spa cabanas. Sleep to the sound of waves below and enjoy a very private lanai. A new community kitchen with stove-tops, commercial sinks, toaster ovens and prep areas is near the main lobby. Each newer tower has quiet pools with waterfalls, hot tubs and large oceanside lawns to sunbathe or lounge under thatched roofs or palm trees.

Best place for us, with the family, with the little ones, or just for two older married people!
The first week was in an ocean view and the second week was a garden view. I love that we can hop back and forth between the pool and the beach, which are only about 125 feet apart. However, little ones absolutely need to wear aqua socks or fins at all times, as there is a shallow reef here with sharp coral. There were tons of large turtles, some eels, an eagle ray, and beautiful fish. This resort is awesome for families, but is romantic as well for couples, as long as you don’t mind children in the vicinity.
They also have a playground for the kids, and activities that the resort offers multiple times each day. You get a panoramic view of not only the ocean, but the beautiful pool area as well. They now have a pool table and a ping pong table in the lobby, as well as an over-sized chess game. It would be great if they had one or two more ping pong/pool tables though. In the main tower where we stayed, there is not a full kitchen. There is no oven or stove top, only a microwave, as well as a sink and dishwasher. The workout room has new equipment—with treadmills, two stepmills, other aerobic machines, as well as nautilus and a small amount of free weights. Everything overlooks the ocean and the pool—so nice!
It seems like most of the timeshares are phasing this out and it is really appreciated. Grab a lounge chair and soak in the beauty, and try to take a good snapshot if you can.
How To Install Granite Tile Countertop (1 Of 6) Receiving Your Lazy Granite Kitchen | Duration 3 Minutes 49 Seconds
We own four weeks a year, and never get sick of visiting. He was quick to respond and very patient in answering all of my questions. We golfed, zipplined, snorkeled, surfed & did a helicopter tour.
The oceanfront units are especially close to the beach, and have a lot more lanai area than the newer units. Lahaina is just a few minutes away, and offers lots of restaurants shopping. My oldest daughter even was able to take surfing lessons here. Lahaina and also boasts a number of delicious restaurants, poolside dining options, fitness center and on-site tennis courts. Higher floors have spectacular, unobstructed ocean/beach views. Stainless commercial grills and thatch-covered beachfront tables are located throughout the resort. A studio/2nd bedroom lock-off (0/1) has its own granite kitchenette with stainless sink, microwave, 2-door fridge, and stocked upper and lower cabinets.
Towel huts provide free towels at each of the resort’s pools. Would recommend this place as it will check most of your vacation boxes. The bell staff is very helpful and immediately makes you feel welcome.
Felt like paradise when we entered the room and saw the ocean view from the balcony. As with other reviews, it is a short hop to the beach where i enjoyed as well, resort is clean, the gardens are lush and well incorporated unlike other resorts that feels too structured. Activities are plenty whether it be at the resort, beach or around the area. Whale watching from you r balcony or just sitting at the oceanfront cafe is a delightful bonus. If you call ahead and make a reservation, even on the same day, they will give you 50% off. My kids participated in lei-making, koi-fish feeding, and a scavenger hunt, among others. They also sell ice cream sundaes at the pool once or twice a week, and make popcorn and snow cones, also for a fee.
They will be refurbished this year, which will be a nice change. The old game room in the lobby is now a play area for children, where most of the crafts are also done. These rooms have a small refrigerator and a tiny freezer on top. They have the normal pots and pans and utensils that most timeshares offer. Marriott still does a free mid-week cleaning for the timeshare weeks.
You can relax at the pool or beach or there’s lots to do.
They’ve added a community kitchen with stove tops for cooking and several additional grill areas to sit outside and watch the sunset while you grill. A great family and honeymoon resort with all the amenities you want. Bring your camera, but you’ll only have 2-3 minutes each night to catch that sunset moment. A very large school of dolphins just happened to pass by as well.
Another reason we prefer the older buildings is the open air entrances and atrium feel of the outside walkways to the units. Marriott decor, we have never been disappointed with any of our units during our stays!
It is absolutely beautiful – the pool is fantastic for the kids and the beach has wonderful snorkelling. There is a beautiful golf course on the island side of the resort, so even if your view is not ocean, it is probably golf course – which is also beautiful to look at!

The wedding was beautiful, the wedding planner did a beautiful job with the “gazebo” for the alter and the food was excellent. The room was as expected very nicely decorated and recently updated. The beautiful pool feature lovely fountains and a swim-up bar. All water at the resort is conditioned with it’s own purification system for your convenience and safety. There is a third bathroom, with shower, adjacent to the living and dining area. Travertine marble floors, 10 foot ceilings in the living areas, solid maple entry doors, zoned air conditioning and ceiling fans.
All of the staff are friendly and helpful and the food on the property is delicious! The pools were crowed but lots of fun for the rest of the wedding party. It was wonderfully decorated and had great patio space with an ocean view.
We eat fine dining at other locations and can do so in my flip flops and t-shirt!
Mosaic Backsplash Tiles by collectionsetc.comEach set includes six 10-inch squares of mosaic-style tiles that can be cut to fit your space. Went on easily and look fantastic, really made t he area eye popping. We are are more than happy with the cost, ease and most of all, the look!
It took me less than an hour to cut them into 2-tile wide strips and install them. It’s a bit tedious to get them lined up correctly, but if you are careful you can re-position them if you mess up. They were easy to install, and only took a couple if hours to do the splash behind my electric range, and sink. We wanted tile, but didn’t want to pay the price of tile. We were afraid that maybe the tiles would not stick well with the moisture in the room, but so far after about 5 months, the tiles are still sticking great. We even put some of it on the floor along the shower stall and that looks great too! These easy-to-apply backsplash tiles will instantly give your kitchen or bathroom a stylish update. What an easy, cost effective and beautiful way to update your kitchen. Bought these to put over the sink in the laundry room to make it easier to clean that area. Have done several dryer loads in this closed in space, and so far they’re staying stuck – which was a concern.

They are ideal for the dollhouse kitchen and laundry room floor; maybe the bathroom floor too. I applied these tiles behind my stove and they wipe off easily and look so pretty!
I put some in the bathroom, and it doesn’t peel or roll with the humidity in the bathroom. I saw these tiles in your catalog and figured that we should try them out.
10 Kitchens That Aren’t White by hookedonhouses.netWe also went with a natural cherry finish instead of the white cabinets to go along with the woodsy location.” 2.
I wanted our kitchen to have a warm, rustic vibe to contrast with the stainless appliances. It could be twice as big as it is, but it still wouldn’t work any better for us and make us any happier.” 4.
We were able to pick out the granite by hand; even got to pick our favorite part for the island. People love to gather in my kitchen and visit with the cook. When we decided to move house, a big kitchen with living areas was top of the list. This kitchen is where we reconnect after a long work and school week. My favorite thing is the window sills, which are 8” wide and perfect for display. You might notice you keep picking for example red things. We built our house in 1996-97 and did beautiful cherry cabinets and woodwork in the whole house because we hated oak.
Now, we are more “with it” since cherry is on trend more now.
What really made me jump, though, was the fabric on the buffet. Your kind comments mean a lot since our kitchen is not yet finished. Natural wood is so lovely, and so is the white look in kitchens. Perhaps it was my 8-year-old that was literally ready to photo bomb my pictures so she could get back to using the island.
Home Improvement With Cultured Granite Countertops & Cultured Marble Walk In Showers | Duration 2 Minutes 12 Seconds
It was the kitchen original to our 1940s era home, and the cabinets were white. I am looking forward to seeing the small kitchens you plan to feature. White cabinets are beautiful, but they sure do show the dirt more. Looks similar to ours, which have natural cherry wood, which is beautiful. And back in the 90’s had those bright white cabinets, remember those?
My wife picked out a wallpaper that really added a lot against the white cabinets.
I painted the kitchen island black and have gone back and forth about painting the cabinets white or a light gray. I h ad the stone wall done behind the cook top to match the stone on our fireplace. It is a great place to work and never feels crowded even when we are all (myself, my husband, 3 kids and 2 dogs) in it.” 3. I love the cabinets, because they are alderwood, and they have knots!
Everything looks a little rustic, which is what we wanted!
I try to adhere to ‘organic’ accessories and keep the counters free of appliances.” 7. Family and friends gather to share great meals, and good times. It was important to me that it was beautiful but more importantly it had to be welcoming, comfortable, and a place that people would always feel that they wanted to come back to.” 9. I had to fire the cabinet maker before they were completed!
I enjoy it every day now and am so proud of the results!
You don’t have to explain it to yourself or anything. I love looking at all white kitchens but it will never be my reality. I love the idea of fabric instead of doors, and the color you chose is perfect!
My mixer is 30 years old, almond color, and unfortunately it refuses to die. We still need to install the trim and a few open shelves. Thank you for posting 10 kitchens with different wood tones, accents and accessories. It’s obvious all of the 10 featured are “lived in” which makes them even more special. I think that’s what it all comes down to – having a home you love to be in. I should have just put her and her things in the pictures!
But nothing sucks the life out of beautiful wood furnishings like white does.
Had natural maple in our previous house, which is looking a little dated now. I think they were actually wrapped in some kind of coating as opposed to the painted white today – does anyone remember those or have those still? When we bought that house, the previous owners had just remodeled the kitchen so we just kept them. But with three teenagers and three dogs, white seems impractical right now.
