I am not sure what type of color backsplash or flooring will look nice and complement this granite. Have you ever seen a bluish paint paired with the santa cecilia? I am thinking of either maple with mocha coffee stain, or ginger. It’s difficult to diagnose such a description without seeing the countertops in-person.

The trapped air will dissipate easily as you depress the squeegee tool (included) onto the bubble and firmly push bubbles out from the center towards the edge of the material. The tacky adhesive cures in the first 48-hours after installation, yet is still easily removed years after. I am happy with the results but will still buy granite in a few years. First of all it is a bit harder to apply than the video makes it look. If you have a helper it is easier to have the other person hold the film up and pull the backing off as it is laid down while you squeegee the bubbles out. There will be imperfections so if you are expecting up close perfect look of granite then don’t buy. I did fold the film under my countertops and stapled it down as well. Ended up just using for the edges and small creases that needed smoothing. The more we tried to smooth them out, the more bubbles appeared. It will shrink it up very slightly and close any air bubble holes, let you smooth out wrinkles/creases, etc. It is probably possible to do it with one person but will take a long time and you’ll most likely end up with more bubbles/creases than you want. I made the mistake of removing all the backing from one of the pieces, so had 1 person holding it up while th e other two of us worked as fast as we could to smooth it out. Don’t over lap more than an inch or so as it sticks really good to it’s self and makes it a lot harder to pick up to get air bubbles out.
